6th 8th January 2003, Sri Lanka: Meeting on Gender Budgeting with groups in Sri Lanka with Professor Diane Elson as a Resource Person

23rd 24th December 2002, New Delhi: Meeting on Gender Budgeting in India

16th 20th December 2002, Kathmandu: Regional Workshop on Gender Analysis of Budgets in Kathmandu, with Professor Diane Elson as the resource person and inputs from national and international experts on Gender Budgets. Regional sharing of the gender budgeting exercises in the region, assessing progress, identifying gaps and formulating strategies for future actions.

10th 20th December 2002: Training Programme for Regional Partner Organizations identified to be National Resource Centre: A training programme has been planned on concept, installation and usage of LibSys Software proposed to be used for the web-based integrated information storage and dissemination module on issues related to trafficking and larger gender issues. There will be two participants from each country and the training will be carried out by LIBSys personnel and by other professional experts.

16th 18th December 2002, Shillong: Gender-based HIV/AIDS Care and Counselling 1st Phase Training for Counsellors by North East Network, at Shillong supported by UNIFEM

13th December 2002, Kathmandu: National Workshop on the findings of the gender sensitization of the 2001 Census in Nepal

2nd 13th December 2002, Kathmandu: A Post-budget analysis of the Budget with a gender perspective is being undertaken in Sri Lanka, with resource persons from the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) in India
